ESSEX SENIORS vs HAMPSHIRE
The Essex Senior team played their last match in the Mulligan Larson League against Hampshire at Hartley Wintney on Thursday 8th August.
The course was in lovely condition and proved challenging but fair. The team put in a strong performance but unfortunately Hampshire proved tough opponents securing a 4-2 win.
With thanks to Julie Cole, Hampshire's Captain for her good humour and excellent food choices and to Hartley Witney for hosting us.
Team; Julie Finegan (Captain) Chigwell GC, Gill Haysham, Sara Dunn and Tiff Wade, Chelmsford GC, Paula Wendleken, Abridge and Wendy Cook, Colne Valley.
Overall a pleasing run in the league with some strong performances and a solid platform to build on for next year.
Next match in the ERL away to Herts at East Herts GC on Thursday 19th September.
