A UNIFIED FUTURE - ESSEX GOLF


The unification of the Essex Golf Union (EGU) and Essex Ladies County Golf Association (ELCGA) into Essex Golf will create a more streamlined and inclusive organisation.

With the official launch planned for later this year and full implementation in time for the 2026 season, this will bring significant benefits, including:

  •   Greater inclusivity by uniting men’s and women’s golf under one governing body.
  • More efficient governance with a single structure overseeing county golf.
  • Enhanced opportunities for players, clubs, and officials across Essex.
