Girls’ Most Improved Golfer for 2024
The 2024 Most Improved Golfer, Evie Stone together with The Rayleigh Club Lady Captain, County President, Nicola Thomas and Junior Organiser, Kate Moss.
The trophy for the most improved girl golfer is awarded at the Girls’ Autumn Meeting to the girl whose handicap has reduced the most during the period from 1 October to 30 September in the following year. This year has been a great year for our girls and there have been some amazing handicap reductions as a result. Worthy of mention are Chelmsford’s Emily Howells whose handicap has dropped from 24.0 to 11.9 and Orsett’s Emma Kang whose handicap has dropped from 27.5 to 9.8. The clear winner, however, was Evie Stone from Thorpe Hall who during the last year has managed to reduce her handicap from 39.9 to 9.9!!
